Cardiff University is offering a highly prestigious scholarship, the Red Dragon Scholarship Scheme, to recognize the exceptional talent of Chinese students who will be joining postgraduate taught programmes in 2023. The scholarship will award 78 scholarships of £5,000 each.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the student
must be a Chinese national, classed as an international fee-paying student,
self-financed, holding an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught degree, and
must accept the academic course offer and pay the course deposit by 21 April
2023. The applicant must also meet all offer conditions, including any English
Language conditions, as stated in the offer letter by 18 September 2023.
The scholarship is available for 20
postgraduate taught programmes in various fields, such as law, journalism,
architecture, engineering, finance, and more.

The scholarship will award 78
scholarships of £5,000 each to outstanding students from Mainland China who
meet the eligibility criteria.
A total of 78 scholarships will be awarded
to Chinese students enrolling in the eligible postgraduate taught programmes.
The application process
for the Red Dragon Scholarship scholarship will close on 21 April 2023, and late applications will not
be considered.
To apply for the Red Dragon Scholarship, the
applicant must submit a completed application form along with a copy of their
7th term transcript or completed degree transcript and a personal statement no
longer than 300 words explaining why they are an outstanding candidate for the
scholarship.
There is no application fee for
the scholarship, and there is no bond required.
Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma awards are
not included in the scheme. If the applicant is assessed as eligible to pay
Home fees as a result of a fee query, their fee status will be amended to Home,
and they will not be eligible for the scholarship.
