About Youth of Excellence Scheme - Chinese Government fully funded Scholarship :
To develop leaders for global governance who have a diverse background, a strong global perspective, and superior comprehensive quality. The China Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program is run by the China Scholarship Council.

Approach and length of training:
The programme lasts a year and, in theory, leads to a master's degree. Some programmes adhere to the "1+1" paradigm, which mandates that students complete their dissertation preparations in the first academic year while working on their basic course work and conducting research in Chinese universities. They must complete their dissertations based on research and practical experience while working in their home countries during the second academic year before leaving for China to defend them as required by the universities. Those who successfully complete the defence will receive a degree.
Eligibility Requirements for Youth of Excellence Scheme - Chinese Government fully funded Scholarship 2024
- Applicants must be under 45 years old, citizens of a nation other than the People's Republic of China, and in good physical and mental health.
- Candidates must have at least three years of work experience and a bachelor's degree or higher. Preference will be given to those who have professional training or work experience related to the proposed programme.
- A candidate must fit into one of the four categories listed below:
- A government official with the title of division chief (or a level equivalent);
- A senior manager of a business or institution;
- A university or other organisation that conducts scientific research administration;
- Individuals with relevant work or internship experience with foreign organisations.
- All of the registration-related information, including personal data, the admission date, and information about the major, must be included in the pre-admission letter provided by the university. It cannot include any information about having received or having promised to receive scholarships from the Chinese government.

Application Process :

Before April 15, 2024, applicants must submit their materials online through the Chinese Government Scholarship System (http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login).
When applying, candidates must at least have a pre-admission letter from one of the 72 subprograms. Select "Type A" under "Scholarship Type" on the online application. The applicant must locate "Youth of Excellence Scheme of China" and enter the agency code 1563.
2) Application management
The China Scholarship Council accepts individualized applications and arranges for expert review after reviewing the materials submitted by applicants.
