Coventry University, in collaboration with the British Council, is pleased to announce six fully funded Masters by Research scholarships within the Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling (CSMM) and Centre for Intelligent Healthcare (CIH) for female candidates from South Asia (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).
Scholarship Overview:
Coverage: The scholarship encompasses tuition fees, a monthly stipend for up to 12 months to cover living expenses including accommodation, IELTS exam fee (for scholars without a valid Test of English), return economy-class travel from the home country to the UK, and visa and insurance/NHS surcharge costs.

Lowering the Cost of Healthcare: Non-invasive maternal health monitoring for early prediction of preterm birth
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must identify as women and hold passports from eligible South Asian countries.
Completed undergraduate degree enabling entry onto a postgraduate programme at Coventry University by September 2024.
Demonstrated financial need.
No previous degree level study in the UK or recent UK residency.
Active engagement or proven interest in STEM fields.
Commitment to future contribution to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement in home countries.

Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2024.
How to Apply:
Apply for an eligible master's level programme at Coventry University, stating the intention to apply for British Scholarship for Women in STEM funding.
Complete the scholarship application form.
Applicants will receive notification of the outcome by the end of May 2024.
Entry Criteria:
Applicants must hold a minimum of a 2:1 first degree in a relevant discipline/subject area.
Proficiency in English demonstrated through IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT tests.
