The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Scholarship Programme, known as MSP, is a dynamic initiative that extends scholarships to professionals from ten countries. These scholarships are designated for short courses in the Netherlands, spanning a duration of two to twelve weeks. This program is financially supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Host Institutions: Dutch Universities and Academic Institutions.
Fields of Study: Eligible short courses provided by Dutch Higher Education Institutions. Prospective applicants should contact the relevant Dutch higher education institution offering the course to ascertain its eligibility for an MSP scholarship.
Target Group: Professionals, with a maximum age of 45, who are nationals of and employed in one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Syria, Tunisia.
Scholarship Value/Inclusions: The MSP scholarship is designed to contribute to the costs associated with the selected short course and serves as additional financial support to the salary that the scholarship recipient continues to receive during the study period. Covered items include a subsistence allowance, tuition fees, visa costs, international travel costs, medical insurance, and an allowance for study materials.
Eligibility: Employers are required to nominate an applicant and provide a supporting letter endorsing their application. Additionally, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria of the short course they are applying for.
