DAAD SC?HOLARSHIP - MASTERʼS PROGRAMME IN INTERNATIONAL AND DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS – MIDE 2025





Introduction

Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin presents the Master's Programme in International and Development Economics (MIDE) 2025. This 17-month full-time programme, established in 2003, is tailored to equip students with a profound understanding of development economics, macroeconomics, and international trade and finance, balanced with practical applications. The programme, commencing on 1st April 2025, is hosted in Berlin, a vibrant hub of academia, culture, and diversity.


Eligibility

  • Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a Social Science with a minimum of three courses in Economics.
  • The degree must be equivalent to a three-year Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proof of English language proficiency: Medium of Instruction during undergraduate studies, TOEFL (580 PBT, 237 CBT, 96 iBT), IELTS (Band 7.0), or any test equivalent to C1 CEFR.

Eligible Countries

Students from developing countries and those from the EU and other developed nations interested in the economic challenges of developing and transition countries are encouraged to apply.
