Introduced in 2024, the MENDAKI – MICRON Scholarship aims to recognize and support outstanding Malay/Muslim students pursuing full-time diploma courses in engineering-related fields at local polytechnics in Singapore.
Eligibility
Nationality: Malay/Muslim Singapore citizen holding a valid National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or Permanent Resident (PR) of Singapore.
Academic Criteria:
Pursuing full-time education in any of the five (5) local Polytechnics in Engineering related courses.
Achieved outstanding results in academic studies.
Scored a CGPA of at least 3.5 in the latest polytechnic examination.
Character and Leadership:
Exhibited exemplary conduct.
Strong leadership qualities as demonstrated in co-curricular activities.
Other:
Not in receipt of any other scholarships.

Scholarship Benefits
Value of Award: $4,000 per recipient
Number of Recipients: 5
Duration: Each scholarship is applicable for one (1) Academic Year.
Usage: The scholarship will cover educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses, and fees for other educational activities organized by the enrolled institution.
Renewal: Recipients must re-apply for the scholarship in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the criteria.

Shortlisting of candidates is based upon competition amongst the eligible applicants and acceptance into the institution.
