Established in 1995, the MENDAKI Scholarship aims to recognize and support outstanding students pursuing courses at any of the local government polytechnics in Singapore.
Eligibility
Nationality: Muslim Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
Residency: Resided in Singapore for a minimum of 5 years immediately before admission to the institution.
Academic Criteria:
Pursuing first-year studies in a full-time Diploma course at one of the following institutions:
Nanyang Polytechnic
Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Singapore Polytechnic
Temasek Polytechnic
Republic Polytechnic
Outstanding results in either:
Singapore Cambridge GCE ‘O’ or GCE ‘A’ level examinations, preferably with 3 distinctions; or
NITEC Higher NITEC with a cumulative GPA score of 3.5 and above.
Co-curricular Activities (CCA): Good records of active participation in co-curricular activities.

Scholarship Benefits
Value of Award: Three scholarships worth $2,000 each are available for first-year students.
Duration: The scholarship is disbursed yearly for the duration of the course of study, subject to satisfactory performance.
Submission of Results: Recipients must submit a copy of their examination results yearly to Yayasan MENDAKI before the fund can be disbursed.
