The University of Sussex, in partnership with the Aziz Foundation, is offering full tuition fee scholarships for Masters programs to five exceptional British Muslims for the 2024/25 academic year. These scholarships aim to empower British Muslims who lack the financial means to pursue postgraduate studies, enabling them to bring about positive change in their communities and beyond.
Eligibility
Who is Eligible
'Home' Fee Status: Must be eligible for 'Home' fee status.
Field of Study: Applying for a Masters in Media and Journalism, Sports, Arts and Culture, Sustainability and Environment, Technology, Policy, or Law.
Community Involvement: Active within a Muslim community and demonstrate an intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities.
Financial Need: Must be Zakat-eligible/in financial need.
Industry Understanding: Demonstrate an excellent understanding of your chosen industry with relevant prior experience and/or achievements.
Social Impact: Demonstrate knowledge of how the course will enable you to generate social impact.
Commitment to Community Development: Long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain.
Impact Areas: Show how the course will increase your effectiveness in one of the following areas relating to British Muslims:
Effective Advocacy and Enhance Public Perception
Community Service and Social Development

Applying for a Masters at a university that is not at the University of Sussex.
Progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex.
Studying an online course.
Already holding another University of Sussex scholarship (i.e., Chancellors Masters Scholarship).
