Dr White graduated from Sussex in 1968 with a Masters in International Relations and was the first Marshall scholar from the University of Mississippi. He also holds a doctoral degree in Political Science from MIT and is the retired Director of the Office of Economic and Business Development at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
