The University of Sussex is pleased to announce the Sussex Bangladesh Scholarship for the academic year 2024. This scholarship, specifically designed for nationals of Bangladesh, offers a £4,000 tuition fee reduction to support students pursuing eligible Masters courses at Sussex. Starting from 2024, the value of the scholarship has been increased to further enhance its impact.
Eligibility
Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the Sussex Bangladesh Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a national of Bangladesh
Be classified as ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes
Enroll in a full-time Masters degree programme at Sussex, commencing in September 2024
Eligible Schools for Combined Scholarships
Students with an offer to study in the University of Sussex Business School can combine this scholarship with the Business School International Masters Award (2024).
Students with an offer to study in the School of Engineering & Informatics can combine this scholarship with the Engineering & Informatics International Masters Award (2024).
Who isn’t Eligible?
Applicants whose full tuition fees will be paid to the university by a sponsor
Those enrolled in the following courses are not eligible:
Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
Courses at IDS
Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
Degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
Online courses
School direct teaching courses
Masters funded by the research councils (e.g., ESRC 1+3 funding)

How to Apply
To apply for the Sussex Bangladesh Scholarship:
Register your interest via the PG Apply portal when accepting an offer of a place on an eligible Masters course.
If you have applied through one of the University's overseas representatives, request them to register your interest on your behalf.
Declare your interest in the scholarship via PG Apply before registering for your Masters degree.
The scholarship information will be included in your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) for your visa application.
If the scholarship details are not included in your CAS or you wish to register after the CAS has been issued, contact the Admissions Office at pg.applicants@sussex.ac.uk.
